Qayyum for Community Welcomes You
Be Vocal, Vote Local! #ResistRoskam
My name is Mehr Qayyum, and I have been fortunate to attend public school, reside, and learn from other communities in DuPage County. In fact, the range of ideas and enthusiasm spread across the Congressional 5th, 6th, 8th and 11th Districts influences the growing activism and independent thinking that informs my observations of global issues. Currently, these global issues are triggering accountability conversations at local, state, and national levels of government. Local government can serve as the model for civility at the federal level. Qayyum for Community encourages citizens to "Be Vocal, Vote Local".
Qayyum is, and has always been, devoted to community building. That’s why "Qayyum for Community" aims to promote informed governance with the benefits of diversity (gender, party views, experience, ethnicity, and networks). After four years of program evaluation for Congressional committees, and consulting on political economy issues, "Qayyum for Community" believes in sharing observations and documenting political commitment, or "poli-chat" over cold coffee. It’s this intense dedication, passion, and devotion that fuels Qayyum's fight for inclusive development. Explore the site to learn more about the issues that Qayyum for Community is monitoring and share your concerns.
